Thankfully more children and adolescents than ever before are surviving serious illnesses like cancer.  For over 20 years, the Long-Term Follow-Up (LTFU) study has collected information from thousands of survivors and their siblings to find out about the long-term effects of treatment for a serious illness.  Through the generous contributions of our participants, the LTFU study has helped us understand that survivors may face health problems many years after their original illness.  As a result of this study, we have been able to make recommendations to help current survivors live a healthier life and we’ve also helped improve the care for children who are now ill.

Thank you study participants!
